The WOOD candle reflects this with a crisp, green scent that lifts the mind and fosters creative flow - opening with pine and hinoki, evolving into ho leaf and cypress, and settling into Chinese cedar and vetiver. Homework's mission is to inspire people to live more in line with the seasons - balancing body and mind through Traditional Chinese Medicine inspired fragrances. Each product in their range is built around one of the Five Elements of TCM - Earth, Fire, Metal, Water, Wood - translated into a modern, minimal fragrance experience. Natural Rapeseed & Coconut Wax Blend
A 100% natural wax base - cleaner burning than paraffin, with a lower melting point that allows the fragrance to diffuse gently and evenly through the room.

Pine + Hinoki (Top notes)
A crisp, green opening inspired by the Wood element - Hinoki is a Japanese cypress traditionally used in temples and sacred spaces, rarely found in home fragrance.

Ho Leaf + Clary Sage + Cypress (Middle notes)
A fresh, botanical heart that deepens the green character of the fragrance - fosters a sense of expansion and creative openness.

Chinese Cedar + Patchouli + Oakmoss + Vetiver (Base notes)
A grounded, earthy base that anchors the fragrance in something quiet and lasting - reconnects you to nature and possibility.

Light to support focus during creative work, meditation, or moments requiring warmth and presence.

Allow the first burn to create an even wax pool across the full surface - this prevents tunnelling and extends the life of the candle. Trim the wick to 5mm before each subsequent use. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
