DELICATE DETERGENT - YUZU

Most detergents - even gentle ones - are formulated with everyday fabrics in mind. The Delicate Detergent starts from a different premise : the garments most worth caring for require a different approach. Wool and silk are protein-based fibres - the same enzymes that make a detergent effective on everyday stains can gradually degrade their structure over repeated washes, causing shrinkage, pilling and loss of softness. By removing enzymes entirely, Tangent GC built a formula that cleans without that risk - the same clean plant-based chemistry, specifically validated for the fibres that don't forgive a wrong wash. The Yuzu fragrance - brighter and lighter than Kiyomi - feels like a natural extension of that care.

Cocoyl Methyl Glucamide
The primary cleansing agent - a gentle surfactant derived from coconut that effectively removes dirt and residue without the enzymatic activity that can damage natural protein-based fibres over repeated washes.

Natural Fatty Acid Soaps (Lauric, Myristic, Palmitic, Oleic, Stearic Acid)
Plant-derived fatty acids that form the saponified base of the formula - effective cleansing without synthetic detergents or petrochemical ingredients.

Yuzu Perfume (<1%)
A Japanese citrus variety - lemon, orange, grapefruit and yuzu - lighter and more refined than kiyomi. Leaves a subtle, fresh scent on natural fabrics after washing.

Hand wash: 10 ml per 5 litres of water - enough for 50 washes.
Washing machine: 15 ml per 2.5 kg load - enough for 30 loads.

Use cold or lukewarm water only. Avoid wringing or tumble drying natural fibres. Always follow the care label on your garment. Pair with the Tangent GC Kiyomi Fabric Softener for extra softness.
